Indian Reservations
My question involves child support in the State of: California
My ex is married to an American Indian and they live on the reservation. He chooses not to work, because she has enough income for them to live very comfortably. He pays $150 mo (was agreed upon when times were tough for him-no longer the case) and is usually late.
I feel that I need more money. I understand that the DA is useless because he doesn't have an income and they can't use her's. It probably couldn't be inforced anyway with them on an indian reservation.
What are my options?

Re: Indian Reservations
As you've stated, if he doesn't have an income, you're not going to get more than he's already paying. And as you also stated, her income is irrelevant.
Talk with a family attorney about any options you may have but if he's paying, even if he's late, and he's not in arrears, there isn't much more that can be done. Not sure how the reservation plays into the matter but I would suspect that it doesn't; at least not as far as your ex and CS is concerned.
