Application for Extension for B2 Visa
Hi to all, My mother who is 72 yo is holding a multiple entry visitor visa from an Asian country to the USA. She first came here to the USA last year and her POE (Port of Entry) was LAX (Los Angeles). The Immig Officer gave her 6months. I applied for an extension for her for another 6 months and fortunately, she was granted. She left our country last May of this year and planning on coming back here in Feb 2009. She will then be flying via United Air to stop to Hawaii and change plane using Hawaiian Air to Phoenix, AZ. My ques are:

    1. What will be then her POE.....Hawaii or Phoenix?

    2. Can I apply for the second time an extension for her?

    Thanks so much guys.

    Her POE is Hawaii.

Your mother is spending too much time in the US on a visitor visa. She may be granted a short stay since she left only 7 months ago after a years stay. Applying for another extension puts her at risk of losing her visa. Do not abuse the hospitality of the US by having your mother live with you in the US for extended periods of time.

Thanks for responding. I appreciate it very much.

Any suggestion when next year she can come to visit again the USA?

How many times can a B2 visa holder apply for an extension?

    Thanks again.
