    Heavens. Punctuation. Use some.

Indiana has no specific statute for emancipation.

A juvenile court might grant emancipation in the course of another action, but there is no separate statute dealing with it. You'd really need to consult an attorney.

Keep in mind that fewer than 1% of all emancipation petitions are granted, and never for reasons such as "I fight with my Mom" or "My parents want to move." Emancipation is based on need - need for the ability to enter into contracts and conduct one's own affairs, usually because one's parents are dead - not want.

Or because "I want to be in charge of my own life." (what teenager doesn't?)

But OK.... even if emancipation WERE an option, how good of a job do you have? I know people twice your age struggling to live independently (and emancipation will REQUIRE that you live independently).

So, how much money do you make?

How much will your rent be (remember, you can't live with friends, grandma or anyone else, you'll have to live on your own).

Have you found a landlord who will rent to a minor with no credit history?

What's your budget for utilities, gas, transportation, food, car insurance (if applicable), medical insurance, dental insurance, school expenses, clothing, household goods, hygeine items, copayments, medicine, etc. (you probably have no clue how expensive those things are)?

What's your plan to finish school and how will you accomplish that with a full time job?

How much do you have in savings now to start your new found life and freedom?
