    Wrong Drivers License Number
My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: California

I received a ticket a long time ago where the officer wrote the wrong license number on the ticket. The address and name were correct. I never did anything about it and now the ticket is in collections. Can or is there a good chance that they will attempt to garnish my wages or worse? I really don't care about the bad credit at this point. But there's no way I can afford the amount they are saying I need to pay and since it's the wrong drivers license number I 'm not worried about the license being suspended or anything....nor do I want to go the the courthouse and correct it for them. That would be like biting off my own foot right? :wallbang:

It's your debt, and they can pursue it. We're not able to predict the future here. If you don't pay, you'll have to wait and see what happens.
