    Speeding ticket in Massachussetts
After going out with some friends on the evening of December 23rd, i was pulled over for speeding on the way home at 1:10 AM. According to my understanding of how calendars work, that would be December 24th. My ticket however is dated the 23rd...am I off the hook? What's the best way to defend this in court, I was thinking of having my friend who was with my write a statement saying he was not with me the evening the ticket is for... I need to decide to request a hearing by tomorrow so any input would be greatly appreciated.

From everything thing I have read so far, a simple error like that can be corrected on a ticket after the fact so it's prolly not worth fighting imo based on those grounds. Major errors on a ticket are sometimes grounds for dismissal...
But you might get lucky and the cop won't show up which is usually grounds for dismissal.
