Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia in Pennsyylvania
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Pennsylvania
I'm an 18-year-old female in the state of Pennsylvania. I was pulled over for running a no turn on red. The police officer saw my marijuana pipe in my purse. I was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana (about half a gram), and possession of drug paraphernalia (my pipe and a digital scale). I made the officer aware that the scale was for personal purposes of not getting taken advantage of as a young white female. He seemed to believe me. What are my options here, and what is likely to happen? Is there any way that I can keep this off of my record?

Sounds like you need to inquire into the ARD Program if you are a first time offender!
But You should contact an attorney AS soon as possible !
If you are entiltled this ARD is a bit Costly but you will have to follow the rules closely and do not mess up if you get that break of ARD !
Start saving money !
You should probably get your self some counseling to help benefit yourself !
Depends on your situation and you location ,if you will be qualified for this program!
if you can not afford an Attorney
Get ahold of the Public defenders office to see if you qualify for free Attorney
This Program is a very good Program but is not made to be taken advantage of !
