In Jail, and Facing New Charges in Different County
My question involves criminal law for the state of: ohio
what is the motion or procedure that can be used under the following facts:
man in jail in County A. County B has subsequently issued warrants for his arrest.
Is there a motion that would force speedy trial in matter so he does not have to wait until he is released to answer the new charges?
Re: In Jail, and Facing New Charges in Different County
Around these parts, his lawyer in Count B would ask the court to issue a writ of habeas corpus, and serve it on the Sheriff.
