    Timing for Filing Small Claims Court Cases
    My question involves civil rights in the State of:Michigan
    How many years do we have since the incident to make out the papers for filing small claims court in Michigan?

    The phrase "Civil Rights" is generally attributed to a violation of statutory law by a government agency.


    What government agency was involved and what was the exact cause of action? The statute of limitations dictates the time frame to file, not the jurisdictional court.

    Or was it a government agency at all?

    It's just a citizen vs.citizen small claim court case for a few hundred dollars.
