What Kind of Trouble Can I Get in if I Got Caught
My question involves criminal law for the state of: MA
If I legally acquired a product for cheap. Then I return it to another store for more money than I got it, how can they catch me and what kind of trouble can I get into. This item was $200 at one store, and I returned it without a receipt for $320 to another store. How could I be caught and what can I be charged with? Is it very likely? Thank you.
Re: What Kind of Trouble Can I Get in if I Got Caught
If you commit return fraud and are caught, the store can prosecute you.
How they might catch you? That's something you risk finding out if you decide to commit a crime.
