    Emancipation of Minor
The problem is that the government doesn't want kids living on the street, or ending up in juvenile hall, foster care, or jail.

If what you say is true, your mom doesn't sound like she'll be winning the mother of the year award anytime soon. But as long as you have a roof over your head, access to an education and generally having your basic needs met, she's right, there are alot of people out there worse off.

You've said your mom loves sex. Well, if you were as "grown up" as you think you are you would know that a great many of other adults do to. What do you mean by drinks alot?

Most kids have to do chores (trust me, this is better than going to work day after day). They also have to babysit younger siblings (you have to prove you are responsible some how. Parents also get to choose when and where the kids can go, it's alot more dangerous out there than you think. And there have been countless young girls, like yourself, who felt as though they were "mature" and could "take care of themselves" that went out and never came home again.

    Free the hostages
My children are living with the  drunkin abuser who gained custody by going to a court in which neither parent lived in and lied to that court to gain temperary custody, he then came and picked up my children from my home and followed with threats, harrassements, intimidations, and confusion type tackticks to get full custody. Now after 6 and a half years treading in mud filled courts with short arms the court has given me a temperary order for my youngest daughter and a kick under the carpet type order. I fufilled my obligation but still two years later the court has not come through with a court date. one by one my children are quitting school and giving up Both my daughters have been abused and my sons are becoming more and more angry. He wont just let the hostages free and I am a good loving respectful parent that just wants to see my children be happy, the justice system has let them down. Their father has moved every 3-6 months, ussually with calls made to the department of social services and investigations on his heels. My children have been living in campgrounds, motels, a warehouse, his van, a number of rentals that he refused to pay rents, and a number of various easy going street peoples homes who where kind anough to feel sorry for the children but with all this said not nearly enough was forwarded to the athourities to safeguard stability and the mental abuse my children have endured is like horrible. My now 16 year old wants me to come pick him up but his father does have custody. There is no law against moving, being a drunk, buying kids cigerettes, drinking with your kids, kids quiting school, piles of nasty smelly laundry becuase your to lazy to wash it, maggets in the kitchen sink, trashy homes, no beds , sheets, electric, water, stability, and certainly nobody else really cares. I do care and this is something I never thought I would have to be a witness to. I can see why kids would want to run away from this . What advise can I give my kids?
