Recieved Reckless Operation Violation for Donuts in a Parking Lot for Age 16
My question involves a reckless driving ticket from the State of: Ohio
I was pulled over for doing donuts in a school parking lot that had no cars in it.
the officer wrote my court date for 11/31/08 which doesent exist, there are only 30 days in november, and he also came back to m house to change the ticket from failure to control to reckless operation. Can i use these technicalities to get out of the ticket?

You can try...
Officers are allowed to make mistakes.

Do some research. Fight it.
Just the act alone of doing donuts does not constitute "reckless" driving.
You have to have "wontan and willful disregard for the safety of persons or property".
If there were no persons OR property in the parking lot. Then there is no case.
the safety of yourself or your property do not matter. You have the right to endanger yourself and/or your property. NOT someone else and/or their property.
