On Probation Because I Have a CWOF, and I Violated It
My question involves criminal law for the state of: violating probation

So here I am.. A 21 year old 3rd year nursing student.. that let her live get out of control...

I got a cwof for a dui..then i dont know how to explain why at all, got a summense to court for shoplifting... I live in mass and know that is is really the worst thing I could have done.

I dont need anyone calling me an idiot or anything on here, people go through hard times, and b4 being reall mean, lemme just tell you , I sub. teach. for work. Volunteer at childrens hospital 2 times a week and have done three years of nursings.. when you let depression and eating disorders and anxiety get out of control... things like this may happen.. so please dont make mean comments

Im just looking for someone to actually give me advice, i want my life back

What, exactly, is your legal question? If it's "what do I do now", you need to hire a criminal defense attorney, like last week. You're in a little trouble here.

No one here will call you any kind of adverse names, that is NOT what this site is about. Some may but their posts will be removed and they may be as well.

What did your lawyer say about the shoplifting charge? When was your probation violated?

You need to clear all this up so you can move on with your life. Just do not miss any of your court dates and listen to what your lawyer tells you.

If you have any specific questions, just post them.

I hope this all works out for you

Well I called my p.o right away, she freaked out but also said thatif she didnt get anything sent to her then everything would be ok. but that means like, if i didnt get probation from this new charge..

I called an attorney, and he said that he would be able to maybe get this charge dismissed bc it was my 1st offense and all.

I would just like to know if at the clerks hearing they usually or often dismiss these things. Im not saying I dont want to pay for what I took, or do anything for it, I just dont want it on my criminal record because thats the last thing i would need..

I was reading on some website, and it said to bring documents, maybe like ones that im in counsling and trying to get better..

I guess this isnt really str8 forward kind of a question but id there any way I can prepare myself to make my case look better to maybe get it dismissed?

When you were stopped for shoplifting, were the police called and were you arrested?

If yes, what is the statute number under which your citation was issued?

They were called and no I was not arrested. (well both me and My friend were not) They said it was bc of it being our 1st offense and all.

I was also wondering if when we get there, if they are going to know about my dui? because that might make it better to be dismissed then not having a record shown
