16 Year Old in Florida Trying to Become Emancipated
I am a 16 yr old that has a job, makes adaquate wage, and i live with my grandmother. I pay her rent every month and my mother is willing to allow me to become emancipated so i can relocate. My mom lives in GA and I am relocting to NV in 2 1/2 months. I also need to know if you get get your REAL licence and not just a permit in the state of NV if you are emancipated. I know my situation is very complicated and involves 3 different states but i need to know what i have to do legally to do this as quickly as possible. And i also need to know if emancipation laws in florida stand for NV as well

For emancipation, the first thing that matters is where you're domiciled. Right now that sounds like Florida. If your parents or mother have custody of you, but you're living with grandma with their permission, Florida law requires that your parents petition for emancipation. Read the information you were instructed to read before posting and, if you wish, clarify your situation in accord with the terms of Florida's emancipation statute.
