How To Be Emancipated
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Texas
My parents state they do not want me in the house.
Atleast they repeat it to me everyday. I don't want to be in this house either. I'm 16 years old, have a job, and am willing to move in with my boyfriend who can financially support me. He is 21. Then again, can't I always say he's a friend since I'm not allowed to move in with a girl/boyfriend?

Re: to Be Emancipated
Sorry to hear about your situation. However, in order to qualify for emancipation prior to the age of 18, you have to be self-sufficient/self-supportive (have your own place to live, pay rent/utilities, have your own transportation, a job to support these necessities, etc.). Living and having someone else support you is not going to do it.
