    Emancipation Laws in Virginia
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Virginia.
I'm fifteen and i'll be 16 in march. I was wondering if someone could tell me Virginia's laws on Emancipation for minors?---someone who actually knows what they're talking about please.

Sure, emancipation occurs by operation of law when you reach 18. Unless you're completely self-supportive (have your own place and pay for it, have a full-time job, transportation, pay your own utilities, food, rent, etc.), you don't qualify.

If you had followed the rules of the site, you would have found this already:

Please note that applying is a very far cry from succeeding.
