Marijuana Possession

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois
Hey well I have recently turned 18 and got a shocker into the adult world. As I was going into a concert I was searched and they discovered weed on me. I payed the bond and they let me go but they confiscated under 10 grams of weed. I know this isn't a big case compared to others but I would like to get a estimate of what the penalties are and what I will have to pay or what I'm going to be look at when I go to court. I think this all I need to say If I need to say anymore please ask.

Ty for any help and I appreciate just any advice on what to do.

is this true if I were to just plead guilty and do nothing to plead my case?

I come up with in Il. 1.5 to 2.5 grams $1,500 fine, 30 days in jail - Eligible for 24 month probation with first conviction, dismissal of charges upon completion of probation.

You might want to obtain an attorney & see what they can do for you.

Make sure you tell the judge how screwed up the law is.

They love that.

Oh, and make sure you include the part about how terrible it will be to be sober for the next two years.... especially since you STILL won't be legal.

Lol I can't tell if your being serious and I need to study the law more cuz lol I have like 0 idea of what I'm going into anyone got any good sites that I can study up on?

Plus this is my first offense and I did miss a fricken awsome Concert do you think the judge will have pitty on me?

I did get a lawyer woot! Will cost me 500 prob but no charges <-- mizz
