Not Getting House We Agreed on
My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas
After looking at models and you decide to build a house to purchase....and they are changing everything....to even how the floor plan is laid out....without your permission...when you complain they said it is to late cause it was already built and register with the city for that way....can you back out of the contract for the house since it is turning into nothing like what you agreed on in the contract? For example the bathroom is nothing like the same as in the model we agreed on to have built....it is alot smaller and cramped ...
Re: Not Getting House We Agreed on
IF you contracted to have a specific floor plan built AND you did not sign change orders that would alter that floor plan, you have reason to void a contract in many situations.
Without reading your contract and knowing a whole lot more about the situtation, it is impossible to make such a call. A visit with a local attorney is most definately your best next move.
