    H1-B, Transfer or Extension
    Hi,

    until september 30th 2008, I was working with employer A in mass. under an H1-B. I got a job offer from employer B (university) that I accepted but as my first visa expired on 09/30/08, I left the country;
    We are now doing paperworks, but my question is, are filling for an extension or a transfert?
    Nobody seems to be clearly aware over there about the process and I am worry there are not going to fill the right thing and I'll be waiting jobless for a couple of months.
    any help or advice is appreciated.
    Thanks

    If you're not working in for a sponsoring employer, aren't in the U.S., and have no current paystubs, then what your employer is almost certainly looking at doing is applying for a new H1B for you.
