Possession of THC and Paraphernalia
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wisconsin
I recently got arrested for possession of THC and paraphernalia. the thc in question was just a small amount of stems and seeds(there wasn't actually anything ''consume able'' on me), and the para were rolling papers and a scale. I was immediately put in cuffs and put in the cop car, then was driven to the station, booked, and released. This is my first charge for anything, including anything drug-related. I've already attended my initial court date, but at the time wasn't completely prepared yet and told the judge i would be getting an attorney.
I would much prefer to defend myself than to hire an attorney or get a public attorney. My question is what would be the best approach for me to get threw this with as little repercussion as possible? i just really have no idea how i would proceed in the court room to defend myself, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Possession of THC and Paraphernalia
That saying that somebody who represents himself in court has a fool for a client? I tend to find truth in it.
