    Name Change During Naturalization
    State is Texas BTW.
Ok, here's the deal. I am going for US citizenship and they are asking me if i want to change my name on N-400 Application. I do want to change my name including last name. I am not sure if they can change last name (family name). Actually my dad had two last names and i was using the second last one. Now i want to use his very last name as my last name. And i also want to use my current middle name as first name. Confusing enough? lol
You guys think that the court, during naturalization ceremony will deny this appeal?

Any help will be highly appreciated

Confirm with the field office handling your application that they are able to process name changes, as sometimes they have an administrative officer instead of a judicial officer preside over the ceremony, and administrative officers aren't necessarily authorized to process name changes. Odds are they can process the name change.

Beyond that, I don' think that there will be a problem.
