i know a judge wouldn't let me get emancipated for that reanon, i'm not that nieve i just was wonderin exactly what i would have to do to get emancipated i will do whatever i have to and whatever the judge will agree upon but i just don't really know anything about it and you guys have been a great help!!! what did you mean about it only pertaining to contract with Real Estate??
If you weren't trying to get emancipated to live with your boyfriend, you wouldn't be trying to find loopholes that would allow you to run away with him.
We have told you.
You have a Kleenex's chance in a blast furnace to start with and your lack of a job makes this subject not worth talking about.
Re: Getting Emancipated or Changed Guardianship
thank you very much for all the answers and patience.. i just have one more question.. Would a judge have any objections on emancipating me because of who i planned on living with after i am emancipated even if living with that person is not the reason i am wanting to emancipate??
Re: Getting Emancipated or Changed Guardianship

Of course the judge would.
maybe if I use a really large font...
No number of "what ifs" or "even thoughs" are going to allow you to be with your 19 year old boyfriend. You cannot be emancipated to live with him. In any jurisdiction. Ever.
Re: Getting Emancipated or Changed Guardianship
Even if the reason you want to be emancipated is something else and not so that you can live with him. It still will not happen. Ever. No matter where you are. No matter what your reasons are.
Re: Getting Emancipated or Changed Guardianship
tonight my father punched me in the face over and over again grabbed me by my throat and swung me around made my eye bleed and punched my friend in his face grabbed him and tried to hurt him badly and break his arm.. my other friend who witnessed it all called 911 it took about 5 minutes or less for the police to get there{all this took place on my friend who my dad hits property by way}when police arrived i had both my friends and a neighbor {an older man in late sixties maybe} tell them my father hit me and the police did nothing except send me home with my father>.IS THAT LEGAL????
Re: Getting Emancipated or Changed Guardianship
Are you asking if there is a law that says the police cannot send you home with your parent or legal guardian after there's been a physical altercation?
No, there is no such law.
Call CPS and report the abuse.
