Non U.S. Citizen Caught Shoplifting in Florida
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida, Miami

    Hello,
I'm not US Citizen. Two years ago i was in US and was arrested for misdemeanor shoplifting in Miami,FL
there are RETAIL THEFT(Under) - STATUE 812.014 for 125$. Policemen get all my information from my US Florida ID.
The very bad thing was that i didn't get in the court and leaved US (

What can you say about my problem.
-What i have to do to fix all that, and possible ways to do that?
-How will be coast lawyer assistance in this and where to find qualified ones (contacts).
-Does my arrest will have an influence for my chance to get in US again?
-I heard that its possible to get report about my criminal records from FBI, it coast over 15$, can somebody explain to me how to do that?

i really made an honest mistake, but realized this only after i did it.

please share your ideas about this situation.

So in addition to the shoplifting charge, you have a Failure to Appear
warrant for your arrest. You have made something relatively minor
    into something very serious

    Contact a lawyer in Miami

    Expect several thousand $$$$

You could (and most likely will) be arrested the next time you enter the US

Approximately for how long i will be in jail?

And, if i find a Lawyer and he solve all, will i going in jail next time i enter US?

I'd really appreciate some honest help from someone who actually knows
    about law.

Unknown . . . these things are unpredictable

Some time in the process you will have to return to face the penalties,
having a lawyer may reduce them. Nobody can guarantee you
    will NOT do jail time

I just checked my criminal records and found my COURT CASE,
    There some information from it:

    Quote:

    Seq#_____Charge_________Charge Type___________Disposition
    1________PETIT THEFT____MISDEMEANOR___________________

    Warrant Type: BW
    Whats mean Warrant Type BW?

    A distinct possibility

It is advisable to hire a lawyer before trying to enter, that way he can
prepare you beforehand on what to expect
