Lets say you offer someone $3,000 to have sex with you.
but at the end of the day... you don't have $3,000 dollars.
LOL!!! Was she hot???

but 2) Is it rape? she did consent and was not forced upon.
Legally no. She could lie about consenting though...

If someone lied about consenting I'd blow open my scam show it in court and take the misdemeanor.
the real question is.
Can you be found guilty of fraud. I thought about it.
But because there is no contract (you can not have a contract of an illegal nature) there is no fraud??

No DA is going to take this case. A hooker trying to yell "fraud"... yeah right....
Re: Stiffing a Prostitute
ok..
What if the girl in question has never been a prostitute before? until that every moment?

Still a prostitute.
Re: Stiffing a Prostitute
My friend and I discussed this several years for a short play we put on at a local festival here. The best we could figure is that *maybe* it's akin to shoplifting, but definitely not rape.
Seriously. If she wants to file charges with the police, she'll have to start out with something like, "I'm a hooker and the other night . . ." If she goes for three grand a pop, I doubt she's the street walking kind of gal. This is hardly the kind of attention the discrete, high-priced working girls want - ya know, being a known prostitute.
But she might have friends who know a thing or two about kneecaps.
Let us know!

What are the legal ramifications other than prostitution?
1) i know civilly They do not have a case.
but 2) Is it rape? she did consent and was not forced upon.
So other than solicitation ( which of course she could be found guilty of too)
what law's if any are broken, and what are the odds of the DA wanting to press charges?
Rape and or sexual assault, depending how it is codified, either requires NON consent or false consent, such as a 10 year old, a person who has not the mental faculties to give legal consent but says yes regardless.
Re: Stiffing a Prostitute
Why would anyone use a prostitute? You will end up with more diseases then Bayer has asprins:confused:

That's why regulation of the industry would be ideal.
Some people use condoms. Some of those are even hookers.
