West Virginia Underage Consumption

I was issued a ciation for underage consumption about a month ago. I went to the magistrate and pleaded guilty but will go into a pre-trial diversion program. It says I must pay the fines, do community service, and attend a achohol educaton program.

This is where it gets tricky, I made th eboneheaded move of shoplifting and was caught and given a citation. I know dumb move. Does this interfer with the diversion program because I was issued another citation but on a completely different charge?

Yes, when you commit a new crime during your diversion program, it "interferes" with your program and usually results in the charge going forward.
