Application for Citizenship, Visa Denied
Posting for my cousin in California:
My application for a visa/citizenship filed by my American citizen spouse was denied. No reason was given, and my spouse was not informed in any manner other than my rejection letter. My immigration attorney was also not informed.
I'm told my application is now in the deporation department of ICE. How do I go about finding out why my application was denied and is there an appeals process?
What is the average cost I may expect to pay a deportation attorney for their services?
Any feedback is appreciated.

Rates for attorneys vary by area and complexity of the case.
First consultation with most attorneys is usually free, at which point they will inform you of their fees. I suggest you meet with several attorneys in your area to determine which one will be more affordable for you.
