J1 Visa
Hi: I am on a J1 visa and will be applying for a waiver. Two years ago I got a speeding ticket (53/35 mph). I paid the ticket without issues and was told that I was going to be given 2 points. The problem is that I checked the municipal records today and it appears that I got a 4th degree misdemeanor for speeding.
Question: is this something I should worry about? do i have to report this when I apply? Could this interfere with my GC application later? Should I go to the municipal court and fight this to be changed?
I appreciate your help, thank you,

Re: J1 Visa
A minor traffic violation is generally not an issue with a visa application.
Yes, do note that you have it, but no, don't panic. You're not going to be denied a green card for a speeding ticket.
