Ramifications on My Mother if I File for Emancipation
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Washington

If my mother runs an in-home daycare, will my filing for emancipation cause her to lose her license?
I don't want her to be out of a job/career, I just can't live with her anymore!
I fulfill the criterion for becoming emancipated in Washington, but what will the ramifications be on my family?

Assuming your granted emancipation status (unlikely) why would it effect your Mother?

Well, when my mother found out that I was even LOOKING UP the emancipation laws, she started going on and on about how "the first thing the state would do is take away her other kids, then her license". I didn't think that my getting emancipated would have anything to do with her daycare or my brother and sister, but she insists that it does.

I dont see how. Keep in mind very very very few teens are granted emancipation status.

Okay. I will keep that in mind.
I just wanted to ensure that she wasn't going to lose her license because of this.
    Thank you for your input!
