Marriage to Foreigner on a Expiring Student Visa
I just have to say that this is a great forum. And whether i get the answer I am looking for from this thread or not, I have already gotten a lot of help looking through similar threads, so thank you all!

Anyway my gf has been in the country for about 1.5 years and her student visa(f-1) expires in 2012... but we we recently found out shes pregnant and doesnt want to go to school next semester. If i remember correctly you have to keep going to school full time for the i-20. And yes i am a US citizen

We are planning on getting married now but we dont know the best way to do it. Should we:

    1. Get married in the US and apply for a adjustment of status while she stays here

    2. Get married in the US, have her go back to Japan and apply for a K-whatever

    3. Have her go home apply for a fiancee liscense and then get married here

We would like to have her give birth while in the US if possible. Does anyone have an idea of the best route to go?

    Thanks in advance,
    Moku

If it were me, unless I wanted to risk missing the pregnancy and childbirth, I would choose door #1.
