Employment Based Green Card to Naturalization
Hello,
I received my green card through an employer. I heard from my immigration attorney, hired by the company, that sometimes it "looks bad" to switch jobs from the sponsoring company right after getting the green card. Is this correct? Does this come into play in the naturaliztion process? If so, what kind of timelines are they looking for?
thanks

Once you are a permanent resident, you can change jobs. I have no way of knowing what the attorney was talking about - if you want to know, as him - but his primary issue may have been trying to convince you to stay with the employer that went through the bother and expense of getting you the Green Card.

Yes, I agree this was probably to encourage me to stick it out. Thank you!
