U.S. Citizenship Denied 5 Years Ago
Hi!
I'm here 'cause I would like to know if someone knows about a case like mine!
5 yrs ago I applied for us citizenship and it was denied! When I filled the N-400I didn't put that I was arrested.I was arrested 1992 for drug possesion and my case was dismissed 'cause there was no evidence and the police didn't show up to court! Judge said there is no conviction and he just put me on a drug diversion or something like that which I completed succesfully.Since 1992 I don't have nothing on my record but a traffic ticket on 2001 and on 2003 I decide to apply for naturalization but the person who help me to fill the application told me don't put that you were arrested 'cause it's been 12 yrs ago!Isen my application and 2 months later I receive the appoinment to be fingerprinted and 3 months later the interview to the questions! When I finished the test everything was perfect the official ask me the same question that I exclude on the application. He ask me If I ever been arrested and I said "NO" and then he said why are you lying to me I have all your criminal record and you just have that little thing and I told him that I was scared and he ask me to get my criminal record from the court and he gave 30 days to send it! 2 months later I receive a letter from him telling me denied and if I want to appeal but I didn't appeal 'cause I was wrong and in the same letter said that If I don't appeal wait for 5 yrs to re-apply!
My question is If I re-apply again what are the chances to get my us citizenship or if they can deport me? Thank U!:) TEXAS

We can't give you odds on whether or not you'll be denied.
Consult an attorney, reapply, and don't lie on your application this time.
