Are You Bound to a Lease Without Co-Signer's Signature
My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Ohio
My fiance and I signed an Apartment Lease Agreement effective for 3 years. We live in a condominium but our lease states "apartment". We had to use my father as a co-signer for the condo because mine and my fiance's credit score was not high enough on a stand alone basis. We were approved with my father's credit. My fiance and I signed the lease 4 months ago. My father, the co-signer, has never signed the document simply because we have not been called into the office to do so; and the fact that he rarely visits. Are we legally bound to this lease?

Yes, as you signed, you are bound to the lease. Your father is not.
