Restrictions on Knife Blade Lengths in Massachusetts
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Mass

I have a knife that has a fixed blade of 9.5 inches and wondering if I could get arrested for carrying it, From what I have read about the laws In MA about knifes is that there is only blade length restrictions on folding blades, My knife is a singe fixed blade and isnt illegal to have, but dont know if its legal to carry and if it is legal does it have to be concealed or shown
    Thanks
Ps didnt know where this should be posted:confused:

I don't know about the law for that, but why would you want to carry a 9.5 inche knife around, in public? In my opinion, thats just asking for trouble.

Municipal ordinances generally regulate blade length more than state law does, check yours.

In addition to local ordinances, take a look at this statute, MGL 269, Section 10.
