L-1 for a US Corporation and Foreign Firm Co-Owner
Hi everybody,
This is my first post so, please, forgive any mistake.
My husband and I are Italian citizens with valid Italian passport and Valid US B-1 visa. We co-own and Italian firm, always in business, and its US subsidiary Corporation. We, at the moment, travel back and forth to get the corporation started but, under the B visa, we can't directly manage it. Do you think that one of us could be eligible for an L-1 A or B visa? The application should be made by the US corporation, right?
We applied for an E visa that's been denied because we didn't match all the requirements, even if they say that you can use a business plan if a company is not fully operational, at the Consulate we've been told that it should have been operating.
Could you let us know what you think about our situation?
Looking forward to hearing form you soon, kind regards, Lorena

Is the U.S. business now fully operational?
Re: L-1 for a US Corporation and Foreign Firm Co-Owner
First of all, thanks for the reply and sorry for my delay, I was out of reach in the last days.
The business is now fully operational but I know it doesn't meet, at the moment, the numbers preferred for the E Visa, reason why we were looking at the L Visa, either L-1A or L-1B. Do you think we could do one of them?
Thanks again, best regards
Lorena
