Is HYTA Treated as a Conviction
I was convicted of two felony charges of utering and publishing ( one for $100and another of $150). I plea quilty and i got sentence two years of probation under HYTA. Afther some time i got married (to USA chitizen) and i apply for green card. On interviu officer told me that asson i get discharged from probation to send him police record and discarge papers and then he will approve me a green card.
I hear some roomers that immigration dosent recognize HYTA and that they look at that as regural conviction! My I-130 has been approved and employment
What should I do know? What chance i have to get green card?
I'm in Michigan and i have never been illigaly in USA. This is only conviction what i got in my life.

HYTA involves a guilty plea, so the USCIS could view it as a conviction.

If the interview officer told you that you will get a Green Card if you document that your case was closed without the entry of a conviction, I don't have any reason to suspect that he was lying to you.
