Re: 2nd DWS
It really depends on the particular court's policy as far as what you would be allowed to do. With your history of violations I would not expect that the court would exercise leniency.

Re: 2nd DWS
So when you say excersice leniency....What do you mean...Is my license going to get revoked or will I face a stiffer fine......I mean it was a traffic violation, if I was in deep trouble why didnt they arrest me....In my ticket the police officer has 2 choices either a traffic crime was committed or a traffic violation was commited....and I meant to say I got my 2nd dws after 1 year of getting my last one.....

Re: 2nd DWS
I probably should let one of the Westerners jump in to say exactly what they think is likely to happen in Oregon--I think the police issued you the citation and were going to let the court decide how best to handle your situation. Here, I've seen people with bad driving records go to jail for a DWS but Oregon may be more lenient.

Re: 2nd DWS
Thank You for your help....See I would like to avoid jail time completely....The times that I have gotten caught for driving while suspended has been for work related neccessaties.....Other then that I will not touch a car, I will have my mother drive me and pick me up from work......I also go to school in the morning and work in the afternoon...So I can help my mother...Is there a possibility I can get a community service and a fine, so that I wont serve any jail time. and the reason they suspended my license was because I needed a SR-22 supposebly for having to many driving infractions and no insurance within a year...But I have papers to prove I did have insurance at the time......There must be some type of help for people that have traffic violations...Just like drug addicts get rehab or alcoholics, rapos get treatment or lunatics get mental rehab to avoid jail time in some cases...What about us that commit traffic violations.....
