Probation Violation Maybe Going to Jail
My question involves criminal law for the state of:(NY) I got arrested for 6 percs and a 10 bag of pot. I got a year probation. I was pissing clean for a while and still smoking weed. I urinated dirty but it was to small to use so it was thrown out. Then a week or so later I was clean and then again after that. Then it was dirty again but to small to use again. I also missed the substance abuse classes as well. I urinated dirty strongly and missed the anger management classes twice as well. My PO said shes recommending six months in county for sure. Would you say this is definite going to jail?
Re: Probation Violation Maybe Going to Jail
Probation Officers carry alot of weight in court and if they decide to revoke you, yes, count on doing some time. Most times, judges follow the PO's request, provided there is no over crowding or budget issues going on.
Dirty tests indicate that you are not interested in changing your ways and will continue to be a burden on the court system and your county. And, though not enough to persue, you can be certain your two previous dirty smaples will be discussed as well as your refusal to attend court mandated classes. Anger management classes { or "happy class"} was prescribed for a reason. By not going, you are setting yourself up for a fall.
Combine all your faults here, and you can color yourself gone". But, the real questions are :
Why are you still testing dirty? Have you not figured out this is a gae you cannot and will not win???
Why aren't you attending classes?? Did you really think they wouldn't know or notice??
Why not just quit all the nonsense and get right?? Life is much easier and enjoyable when you're clean and straight.
