Chances of Getting a Pardon
My question involves expungements or pardons for the state of: TEXAS
What are the chances the Governor of Texas will give a pardon for a Class C Misdemeanor (traffic violation)?
Is he (Rick Perry) known to be fair and humane when it comes to issuing pardons?
I know many of you may think, "why a pardon for a Class C?"
Well if you have never had a "criminal record", you do not know how hard it is for employers to hire you (yes even on a Class C. When employers see that "criminal" record pop-up, you're chances are GREATLY reduced).
My prospective future career would require me to essentially have a clean "record".
And also, is it recommended that I get a lawyer to apply for a pardon? (I know I don't NEED a lawyer). Will my chances be better if I get a lawyer?
Thank you.

You can talk to a lawyer to see if there is *possibly* anything they can do for you.
