That is way too broad of a request. You need to listen to your parents until you move out of their house. You can become emancipated at 16 if you show responsibility to be ON YOUR OWN - not shacking up with a girl/boyfriend. How old is the person you want to have sex with and are they of the same or opposite sex?
She is legally blind so she would receive SSI as soon she applies. Im 19 she is 17. She has a place to go and steady income for the rest of her live. I need the law on IL about emancipation and the right she would have at 17.
Thank you

Ok she can see well enough to live out on her own. And the checks for SSI are $637 plus she could get food stamps but no need for that the place she would be renting is thought a bf of hers that only charges $400 thats everything that she would need,It sounds to good to be true but i live there and it would be a problem. The only issue is that what is your option on a judge granting emancipation if she has a place a steady income?
A judge isn't going to grant her emancipation unless she can Prove she can support herself 100% without help, and I don't imagine he'd be so happy about the place she's moving into will be is in connection with her boyfriend.
well If I wasn't even there she would be getting $637 and everything that she would need is only $400. Do you think that is possible? Her parents are taking her child support checks which is $400 a mouth and she has had the same clothes with stains whole faded and there are times that there is no food in the house and I have just found out a little while ago that they have been doing drugs and I think that is why she is not getting what I need, I whole check is gone in less then 48 hours.I have known her for all most 7 years and I been dating for 1 year. she desires so much better. I love her so much, I'm trying to get her out of that he** hole and give her what she needs I have had to buy food for her house and had to buy her clothes and anything else she needed.
I just need some help to get her out of there. What would be your suggestion?
I don't understand when you say "If I wasn't there" and "I think that's why she is not getting what I need"?
IF this has to do with her, then there is absolutely no need for you in this.
If she feels she's being neglected she needs to contact the department of children and youth in her area and make a statement. You seem to think she can support herself, yet you just announced that you have had to purchase things for her.
If she were emancipated you couldn't do that, she would have to prove to a Judge she can support herself 100% and show him that she has been when she goes before the Judge, not say that she can support her self after being granted emancipation. And no $600 is not enough to do so.
Judges are also not excited about any emancipation plan that includes getting food stamps.
Her better option would be to notify child protective services and have them arrange capable foster care.
