Was rear-ended at a cross walk, which is adjacent to a STOP sign (bad drawing attached). I contend that since the crosswalk is next to a stop sign, that it's a stop, and not a yeild. I stopped, and the car behind me assumed I was just slowing down, then rear ended me when I stopped at the cross walk. No Pedestrian in the crosswalk. It's actually a 4 way stop, with this little cut over on the right - I've always treated it at a stop, but can't get definative answers from law enforcement.
Is it a yeild or a stop?
