Emancipation

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Indiana
I'm almost 17 and my parents moved to Memphis, IN and I wish to continue my schooling down in Clarksville, IN. My mother is emotionally unstable with verbal abuse and yelling at everyone for no reason, while my father has no job to get away from her to support me, let alone himself. So, I've been taking refuge with my girlfriends grandmother and my own grandfather. My question is how can I go by getting emancipated, so that my parents can't try and bring me back, when it's a very unstable place for me to be in? Also, I need a phone number to contact whoever on getting emancipated.

Nothing in your post supports emancipation. If your being abused contact Child Protective services their National Hotline is 1-800-4-A-CHILD

You have to have a valid reason for emancipation, a stable work history, a reasonable budget showing how you are going to support yourself, and be living on your own.

You really don't have a shot. Moving away and wanting to move back is not a reason for emancipation.
