Warrant from 1991

My question involves criminal law for the state of: md I was on probation in md in the early 90's everything went fine ,so I thought, I was pulled over in tn where i live and was told I have a warrant from 1991 The state of md said they would not come get me so I was allowed to leave with my speeding ticket Is there a way to take care of this without going to md I dont have alot of money and can't take off work ...bye the way it was a felony charge I had in 1989

I've seen this arise from time to time and frankly I know of only two options: (1) let it ride and hope nothing happens; or (2) find an attorney in that jurisdiction to help you clear it up. Unfortunately, on something as serious as a felony, that will normally ential you having to go back to that jurisdiction at some point.
