Summons on NYC Park Rules
My question involves criminal law for the state of: NY
Hi, I had recently recieved a summons for being in the park in new york city too late with my girlfriend. It cites a violation of park rules. How serious is this charge and will I have a criminal record because of this? If this will result in me still having a clean record, is there any way I could just go to the court house and pay the fine before the appearance date? I'm a college student from out of state so showing up in court is a hassle for me and I just want to get this over with.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
Re: Summons on NYC Park Rules
Is it a misdemeanor or a violation? What's the exact charge (statute or ordinance number)?
