My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Oklahoma
I have a grandson whose is 15 1/2. He has recently told his grandfather and I that he would like to come live us, instead of living with his parents. They are not providing the best home life that he needs to be in right now. He has stated the fact that he would like to come live with us. I hope that some one can give me advice on the laws in Oklahoma, and maybe what we can do to help.

Emancipation is about a court ordering legal standing to a minor who lives independently, earning enough to completely support themselves. I suspect what you really mean regarding this situation is a change in guardianship, and not emancipation.
