Quick question here.
If I win DVD's from a radio station, or get them as presents from friends/family. Is it illegal to return them to a store (obviously with no receipt). Is this considered 'return fraud'?

How would you know where the radio station got the DVD's?
As for your friends and family, ask that they give you a gift receipt and it won't be an issue.
Sorry, I thought that was obvious. I have no idea where the radio station got the dvds from. I just assumed that if I decide to return these and Walmart allows it then there isn't an issue. But I am not fully educated with this law hence why I am asking here.
Have you been charged with return fraud? Or are you simply concerned that WalMart may start questioning or investigating how you happen to be "returning" stacks of DVD's that you didn't purchase from them, with no receipts or other evidence showing where or how they were required?
Consider eBay or craigslist.
If you wish, try walking up to Wal-Mart customer service, explaining your situation, and seeing if they'll accept your "returns" given your complete honesty.
Though I wouldn't have anything else planned that day.
