Help with an Unemployment Insurance Appeal
My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Ca.

I was working for a large company doing mortgage loans. I had a borrower that wanted to better interest rate then i can give him. So, I told him if he can get a good faith estimate from his lender we can beat the deal. So, he faxed me a good faith and i submitted it to my manager for him to beat the deal for me.Well, since my borrower was in Florida, and the good faith estimate came from Ca I was questioned how he got a GFE from Ca.

I said i dont know, and was questioned by my employer about it. I said i didnt know anything about where if came from except from my borrower. Sometimes we get fruad where borrowers try to pull on over, and even loan officers making fake GFE's to get a loan through. I DID NOT do this.Long story short I was fired ( they were letting people fo left and right due to market conditions) for fruad. They thought i helped him create this document because he is in FLorida and I am in ca. I was denied unemployment and just now filed an appeal.

I heard that 95% of appeals are go in favor is the employee. I will plead my case, but they unemployment people said that 2 PEOPLE WERE IN H.R. SAYING I ADMITTED THIS. I would NEVER ADMIT THIS. I didnt do anyhting but just give the document to my employer.

There is no documents to priove their case AT ALL. The only reason why they said it was denied was because there was 2 PEOPLE IN H.R. / w being a witness. But, how can they lie, I feel it was B.S.

I only admitting that it was probably a false document after the fact once i really looked it over, but i am not to blame?

DO YOU THINK I CAN WIN THIS APPEAL? EVEN IF THEY SAY I ADMITTED TO IT? There are no docs proving it, but their word against mine??? PLEASE HELP

There is no way we can tell you if you will win the appeal. All you can do is just tell the truth during your appeal. The "state" will make the decision whether you win the appeal or not.
