H1-B Visa Transfer Without Pay Stubs
Hi Guys,
Based on the research I've done, it appears that submitting pay stubs from the previous employer is mandatory. However, I couldn't really find any concrete answers on the options if pay stubs are not available.
I arrived in the US in Feb 2008 and have not been paid so far since I only get paid if I am working on project. I understand that this results in me being out of status.
Therefore, what are my options for a visa transfer? Is it possible to say I've been on unpaid vacation for 4 months (I guess if I think about it, bench time was like a vacation)?
Appreciate any advise or experience you guys could share on this. Thanks a lot.
Cheers...

You might find these FAQs helpful.
You should also consult with an immigration attorney immediately. I do not believe you can claim "unpaid vacation".
