    Saving Files Electronically
I work for a law firm here in the Bay Area and currently we are trying to move toward saving our closed files to disk or server. At the moment, I'm trying to gather information on how it is done, and where I can go to read more about it (if there is a place). Any and all Information would be great, or just a general direction of where to start.

Some of the main points to hit are as follows:
    1. Cost ( disk vs. server )
    2. How are the files saved to be retrieved later? How are they organized? (correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, etc..)
    3. The relative ease of doing this and any other benefits?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
