My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: :confused: My father went chasing after some women to Florida, then they moved to Colorado. Its been about two months since I've seen him. But he's a drunk and wants to move me into a bad enviorment. I have two part time jobs, and i want to get emancipated and go live with my uncle. he has a great thing set up for me. But how do I go about getting emancipated? He would refuse to sign the papers for that. So I would just like to get him out of my life now. Please any help would be great. I'm still located in California at a friends house. Waiting for him to send for me. So I just need a legal way to not go. And so I can live with my uncle. Thanks, Logan.
