My question involves child support in the State of: Texas


I was wondering if there was a way that my mom could get back pay for me. I am 28 years old and she never received it when I was young. Would it be possible?

Are you talking about arrears from an established court order from when you were a minor, or are you asking if she can file for support that was not previously ordered?

I asked my mom and she said that she never even filed for a court order but I was wondering what she could do to file one now for back pay or is it too late?

It is way too late. It's unfortunate that your mother made the decision that she did, but that cannot be changed now, sorry.

I'm wondering, was your father a part of your life while you were growing up?
If he was, you might want to talk to him about him being willing to help you out financially if you need some help.
