Is There A Time Limit For Naming Your Child?
My question involves name change laws in the State of: Washington.
Actually my granddaughter was born June 25th and the parents still have not named her. Do they have a time limit?

Actually, it's been 41 weeks. What, the baby sprung up on them at the last minute? They didn't see that coming?

Maybe they had a name picked out but then something happened that made that name... um... unpalatable.

I am sure Britany, Lindsey and Amy all sounded a lot better a year ago.

Speaking from someone who has a Brittany or two in the family, there is nothing wrong with the names Brittany, Lindsay or Amy.

The problems were Brittany, Lindsay and Amy's parents.

how has it been 41 weeks? I must be missing something.

OP: some people like to learn the personality of the person before naming them. Why don't you give them some ideas from your observations?
And give them the time they need.

Assuming this was a normal pregnancy:

Number of weeks of a full term pregnancy: 40
Number of weeks since birth: 1

    Total: 41
